Of course it's perfectly all right to do very little except soak up the atmosphere but we'd rather you didn't spend all your time in the Business section of the newspaper or tapping out a report on your laptop.
If you've come this far there's more to do than what you do at home, and it quite likely costs less, or nothing at all. Plan your days to involve yourself in a bit of the local flavour, taken at a leisurely pace.
Ask for advice at a Visitor Information Centre. Wheel-chair? Children? A lust for adventure? An addiction to craft shops and hand-knitted tea cosies...?
